Hey guys,
I've been playing a MoP Nuker and it's decent and works well as many have proven. However, I've grown a little tired of it and been messing around and have come up with this variant (I didn't fancy a meleémancer).
N/R
1. Barbs
2. MoP
3. Barrage
4. Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support
5. Rigor Mortis
6. "I Am the Strongest!"
7. Ebon Battle Standard of Honour
8. Comfort Animal
At the moment, I feel it works, not superbly, but reasonably. However, I feel it's too middle of the road in terms of my damage and my group support. Any suggestions on how I may be able to either boost my personal damage or provide more important buffs/support.
Oh, I'm currently sat at...
12 Soul Reaping
16 Curses
6 Marksmanship

Well, I have to ask...why all the single target weakening when you are using barrage as a catalyst? For example, Rigor Mortis is great for one enemy. But you're wasting 10energy to make one enemy unblockable, when you are probably trying to damage more. If you are trying to counter blocking then you can try Defile Defenses. Tis a little more spammable

Well, to be honest, the main purpose of my build is to provide the MoP and Barbs and ebon standard for my MM hero and 'Physical' hench, rather than my own single target damage. Rigor Mortis is good for my MoP target.
I chose Barrage because it's spammable and does reasonable damage with the additional damage provided by Ebon Standard and I am the Strongest.
But this is why I am asking for suggestions, I don't feel it is a GOOD enough build yet, but provides a nice fun variant from the standard N/A MoP Nuker.

If you want [[Mark of Pain] and [[Barbs] but don't want to run the Mark of Pain Nuker build, you could always run a generic [[Spiteful Spirit] build instead and just include the two skills:
[build prof=Necromancer/Mesmer Curses=12+1+3 Soul=12+1][Arcane Echo][Spiteful Spirit][Necrosis][Enfeebling Blood][Barbs][Mark of Pain][Ebon Battle Standard of Honor][Signet of Lost Souls][/build]
I don't know if Ebon Battle Standard of Honor affects Spiteful Spirit though.

Going to have to use By Ural's Hammer, as that ward doesn't increase armor ignoring damage.

If you are gonna use barrage and bring a pet, may as well bring Never Rampage Alone.

Not a fan of running MoP in general PvE without AP; the recharge is rubbish, and if you don't ball, it will be a very ineffective skill.
